This page explains what happens to your information when you use the Trump Account Election Assistant (the "tool"). We tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text, because the short version is genuinely simple: the form data you type in never leaves your browser.
Everything you type into the worksheet — your name, Social Security number, address, date of birth, phone, email, and your child's information — stays entirely in your browser's memory while you use the tool. It is never sent to our server, never stored in a database, and never logged anywhere. Closing or refreshing the page erases it completely. You can verify this yourself: the tool's "Data Ledger" panel shows a running count of bytes sent to a server, which stays at zero throughout.
The tool asks for your child's name, Social Security number, and date of birth because the official Form 4547 requires it. This information is entered by you, the parent or guardian, and — like everything else — stays in your browser only. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and the tool is intended to be used by adults on a child's behalf.
Since we don't hold your form data, there's nothing to request deletion of on that front. For the two things we do hold — your email address and your access code record — you can email us anytime to ask what we have or to request it be deleted.
